The girls had their first TBall practice this weekend. It was awesome! There are four girls and seven boys on the team. Most of the players are new to the game and are learning to hit the ball, catch the ball (from the ground), and how to run the bases. As you can imagine, it was quite hilarious. Three of the kids ran past first base and kept running--not realizing there's a second base to run to! A few of the kids (Zoe included) could just barely hit the ball or swung around the T a few times in an effort to slug on out there. What a great season it will be :)
We had Zoe's birthday party on Saturday, just us family. We surprised her with a "Littlest Pet Shop" theme. She was so excited! Uncle Bobby and Dara came over for a visit while the kids played outside.
Yesterday we just about froze making it to from the parking lot to church and vise-versa. Hadassah said "Mama, it's too cold to breathe!" What I think she realy meant was that it was so windy, it was hard to breathe.
Speaking of Das, she read a Second-Grade level book to me this morning and she did wonderfully!! God has given us a very bright girl. She's making homeschooling quite easy.. wonder how it'll go with the other three. An adventure I"m sure. :)
